Answer the question behind the visit

A product description earns its place by helping someone decide. What is the product for? What is included? Which dimensions, materials or compatibility details affect the choice?

Start with those questions before choosing a tone. A distinctive voice can make the information easier to recognize, but it cannot replace missing specifications.

Separate facts from phrasing

Keep a small set of verified facts: dimensions, materials, intended use, included parts and any restrictions you can support. Leave out an uncertain certification, performance claim or compatibility promise until there is a reliable source.

Give an AI writing step that source information and a concrete instruction. Explain the audience, the desired structure, the language and what must remain accurate. Ask it to omit unknown details rather than fill a gap with plausible wording.

Make the page easy to scan

Use a brief introduction that states the product's purpose. Follow with useful features, specifications and practical details in an order that supports the decision. A short paragraph should add information, not restate the heading.

For example, “Designed for outdoor use” adds less than a verified material, closure or dimension. The useful version depends on the product facts you actually have. Do not turn a possible benefit into a promise you cannot support.

Give search details a separate task

A product title, visible description, SEO title, meta description and image alt text have different jobs. In Skuze they can have different steps and instructions.

Use AI Product Update for selected title and description fields. Use SEO Optimization for product search metadata. Use Image Alt Text for existing media, with AI or a template. A metadata update does not need to rewrite the body.

These tools help organize the work; they do not guarantee a ranking, a sale or a conversion increase.

Preserve the catalog structure

Options, tags and metafields can be just as important as the prose. Keep size or colour option names consistent. Choose from supported collection rules or approved tags. Fill existing product metafields with a fixed value, template or AI instruction when appropriate.

Do not remove an option group casually: changing options can affect Shopify variant combinations. Inspect the intended field and action before applying a workflow.

Check the result in context

Read the draft against the original facts. Look for invented details, repeated adjectives, contradictions and formatting that makes the product harder to understand.

Test in Skuze simulates Shopify writes while AI can still run and use Credits. A real product rewrite can write to Shopify immediately. An approval later in the workflow does not retroactively turn that rewrite into an uncommitted draft.
